Surgical Sinus Course #2 is an advanced live-patient surgical training program focused on predictable posterior maxillary rehabilitation using proven sinus augmentation techniques. The course is designed for dentists who already have implant placement experience and are ready to expand their surgical capabilities into more advanced posterior maxillary cases.
Participants progress through the diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical management of the maxillary sinus, with emphasis on both crestal (internal) sinus elevation and lateral window sinus lift procedures. Dentists perform surgical procedures on live patients under direct faculty supervision, developing the skills necessary to approach sinus augmentation safely and predictably.
Training incorporates CBCT-driven sinus evaluation, anatomical risk assessment, membrane management, bone grafting, implant placement in augmented sites, and management of common surgical challenges. PRF and PRP protocols are integrated into the surgical workflow to support graft management, membrane protection, healing, and overall case predictability.
