Frequently Asked Questions About Med Dent EDU Courses

The following frequently asked questions address common topics related to Med Dent EDU’s live-patient implant dentistry education programs. These courses are designed exclusively for licensed dentists and focus on real surgical execution, not observation-only or simulation-based training.

If you have additional questions after reviewing this page, please contact our team directly.

Who can attend Med Dent EDU courses?

All Med Dent EDU courses are available only to licensed dentists. These programs are not open to dental students, hygienists, assistants, or the general public. Participants must hold an active dental license and be legally permitted to perform dental procedures.

Are these courses patient-facing?

No. Med Dent EDU is not a dental practice and does not provide patient care services. All courses are professional continuing education programs designed for dentists. Patients are treated strictly within an educational clinical setting under appropriate supervision and consent.

What makes Med Dent EDU different from traditional CE courses?

Med Dent EDU courses are built around live-patient surgery, not lectures, typodonts, or observation-only formats. Dentists work directly at the chair with real patients, guided by experienced faculty who perform these procedures regularly in practice.

Key differences include:

  • Live-patient surgical execution
  • Small groups (3–4 dentists maximum)
  • One doctor per chair
  • Chairside mentorship, not classroom-only instruction
  • Focus on real-world clinical decision-making

Do you guarantee a specific number of implants or surgeries?

No. Med Dent EDU does not guarantee a specific number of implants, sinus lifts, full-arch cases, or procedures. Clinical exposure depends on patient availability, medical appropriateness, informed consent, and real-time clinical judgment.

The focus is education and skill development, not production volume.

Where are the courses held?

Courses are hosted primarily in Dominican Republic, in a fully equipped clinical environment designed for live-patient surgical education. The location allows for an immersive, all-inclusive training experience focused on learning and execution.

What course level should I start with?

Course placement depends on your current experience level:

Level 1 – Basic Implantology is recommended for dentists new to implant placement or those seeking to reinforce foundational skills.

Level 2 – Intermediate Implant Placement is designed for dentists who already place implants and want to expand into more complex cases.

Level 3 – Advanced Sinus Lift Training is intended for clinicians with implant experience who want to perform sinus augmentation procedures.

Level 4 – Full Arch / AOX Digital Workflow is for experienced clinicians ready to perform full-arch immediate-load cases.

If you are unsure which level is appropriate, contact us for guidance:
